Born in Madrid (Spain) in 1959, he has been a full professor since 2007 and Dean of the Faculty of Theology and the Faculty of Canon Law at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid since 2009.
He graduated in Literature and Philosophy (philosophy section) from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in 1983 and in Theology from the Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule in Sankt Georgen, Germany, in 1993.
Since 1994 he has been Doctor en Teología, and teaches at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, where he has held numerous positions.
In 2007 he was Invited Professor at the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Gregorian University and in 1996-1997 and 2008 Visiting Scholar at the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, USA Massachusetts.
He has published about 150 articles in Spanish and other journals and co-authored about twenty collective books.
