AVEPRO has developed a system of evaluation based on the approach described in the "European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area" and has already realised site visits in several European countries.
In this framework the role of the experts engaged in the process of evaluation becomes crucial. Therefore, following the insights coming from the two Councils of the Agency and in accordance with our Strategic Plan, AVEPRO intends to invest energy and knowledge in order to deliver a common training path for evaluation experts, in fact, experts in their academic fields are not necessarily expert in quality procedures. The concern of the Holy See for the universal Church adds to its richness also a level of complexity. Considering the number of Faculties and experts we will have to involve, it seems to be necessary to structure the course in an e-learning environment.
