Prof. Sigrid MÜLLER

Vice-Dean for Research at the Faculty of Catholic Theology of the University of Vienna (Austria).

He studied Theology, Latin and Italian in Tübingen and at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. He holds a master’s degree in Family Counseling from the Catholic University of Salamanca (Spain).

His research areas concern the history of moral theology and bioethics, with particular attention to the ethics of technology.

In 2008 you were appointed Junior Member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and member of the
Curatorial Board of the Austrian Science Fund FWF. In the years 2011-2013 you were elected president of the European Society for Catholic Theology.

She is the author of Acting in a Contigent World. On the Concept and Significance of the recta ratio in Wilhelm von Ockham (published in Germany and France, 2000) and co-editor of Naturalising the Spirit? Contributions to the Current Debate on the Spirit (published in Germany, Königshausen und Neumann, 2008). You have also published numerous articles in international journals.
