Sister Marie-Claire SANDOZ

Marie-Claire Sandoz, Sister Clare in religion, was born on 30 April 1960 in Geneva, Switzerland.

After obtaining her classical high school diploma, she graduated in Law at the University of Geneva in 1983.

After a period as a lawyer, she joined the Congregation of the Apostolic Sisters of Saint John (France) in 1991.

In 1998 she made her perpetual profession.

In 2009 she is called to work in the Roman Curia at the Pontifical Council Cor Unum, dealing among other things with the legal management of the John Paul II Foundation for the Sahel.

Since 2017 she has been working at the newly created Dicastery for the Service to Integral Human Development in the ‘Person – Society’ sector, with a particular interest in the anthropological and theological dimensions of this sector.

An official in both bodies of the Holy See, he has been working at AVEPRO since July 2021.
