Dr. Fiona HUNTER

Fiona Hunter is Associate Director of the Center for the Internationalization of Higher Education (CHEI) at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, where she is responsible for research and professional development projects on a wide range of topics and for doctoral theses on internationalisation.

In 2015, you co-led an international team of more than 30 researchers to produce a study for the European Parliament on the internationalization of higher education.

Fiona is also co-editor of the Journal of Studies for International Education (JSIE) and is a member of the International Advisory Board at the University of Granada in Spain. She also works as a consultant, trainer and researcher at private, public and religious institutions around the world.

His work focuses primarily on strategic change and internationalization, and recent projects have included work with university leadership in Italy, France, Spain, Romania, Albania, Russia, Israel, Ivory Coast, Panama and Cuba. He works in English, Italian, French and Spanish.

Former President of the European Association for International Education (EAIE), you also served for 6 years as a member and president of the Board of Directors of a non-profit organization in the United States.

She holds a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in Higher Education Management from the University of Bath in the UK.
